Cash Flow Family

I occasionally reminisce about the my younger days as a child growing up in a suburb of Philadelphia. Those days were incredible and were filled with fun, tremendous relationships, community, and such freedom.

Freedom to explore, make mistakes (I made plenty of them), and play.

One of the things I loved was playing board games. Yes, once some of the technologies started to come out, they did consume some of my time. However, playing games such as Monopoly, Chess, Life, and Battleship helped to instill the joy of games while still learning things like strategy and financial concepts.

Today, I truly enjoying doing that with my boys when they are willing to play with me. They have way more distractions to compete against today, but they occasionally will make time. This weekend was one of them and we got to play my favorite game called Cash Flow.

We’ve played this many times before, and each time they seem to grasp the key concepts even more. These are not concepts typically taught in school and teaches them a different approach to gain financial freedom. I take great pride in these simple moments and hope they will help them as they progress through their own journeys in life.

In our busy lives, the clock can move very quickly. Having the freedom to use our time for what matters is up to each of us. Own your time or it will own you.
